Her Bio: “My father was from a Fayette County farming family, and my mother was from a Bourbon County farming family. I was born in Fayette and lived there until I was about 8. Then we moved to Bourbon County to Kiser Station and have lived here ever since, about 56 years. I went away to school and traveled a little and saw other beautiful places, but nothing else quite speaks to my heart like the inner Bluegrass, and particularly Bourbon County and Stoner Creek. I drove the bookmobile for about 10 years and then farmed full time for about 30 years. Most of the photos I take are of places and scenes that are deeply familiar to me, but also always new, with different light or weather.”
